Heidi Bird has worked as a seamstress for more than 10 years and has a wide range of sewing experience.
As the mom of three Irish step dancers, she understands how the girls LOVE these dresses. She began
making solo doll dresses after noticing that many dancers had a mass-produced Irish looking dress on their
dolls. Her oldest daughter said, "You can do better than that, Mom." So, as a trial run, she donated her
first doll dress to a fund raiser at her daughters' dance school and it was a hit. She has been taking dress
orders ever since!
Heidi attends many feiseanna throughout the year and spends (almost) as much time studying new dress
trends as she does watching her girls dance! It's her priority to keep up with current trends and provide a
high quality product.

- Sewing historical costumes for the Wisconsin State Historic Society
- Creating custom wedding and bridesmaids dresses
- Working as a seamstress doing alterations for a chain of dry cleaners
